About the Business and finance Team
The Business and Finance team is a small student-run team that aims to provide a multitude of resources to our organization to ensure success in developing our rocketry projects. We are constantly executing the compilation and tracking of our finances as they are vital in continuing the sustainability and success of our organization and its projects. Additionally, the Business and Finance team oversees procurement operations, ensuring a smooth supply chain between our suppliers and our projects. By practicing financial responsibility we are confident that we can efficiently develop our aerospace feats.
Sponsorship Development
Matching in importance to our procurement and finance tracking efforts is our ability to develop partnership opportunities for our organization as learning from industry professionals is the best way to prepare our students for their futures in the space industry. We are passionate about broadening our industry connections and financial resources in order to best complement our students’ experiences, so please feel free to reach out to us if you are interested in mentoring or donating to our rocket fund! The annual cost of all four of SEDS’ rocketry development programs comes out to tens of thousands a year. As a 501(c)(3) organization through UCSD, we rely heavily on the funds we receive from generous sponsors and deeply appreciate all the aid we can get.
